P.S.: Much better than Birth while covering some of the same ground. The improvement is largely because of the manner in which the material is treated, with Laura Linney and Topher Grace giving believable performances as opposed to Nicole Kidman’s awkward and stilted one. I like this one more and more as I continue to think about it.
The Tick- The Complete Series: Did it deserve to live on longer than it did? Maybe not. It doesn’t work as well as its animated predecessor but is still damm funny. Still, I don’t know if it would have been sustainable over the long haul.
