Creating Passionate Users has a great series of mock motivational posters featuring some of the biggest names in business today. As they say, no one is ever actually motivated by the real posters companies put up, so why not come clean about what the heads of organizations really think.

Ultraviolet trailer
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
If you just absolutely loved Aeon Flux then you’ll probably like the trailer for Ultraviolet. The rest of you just don’t go there.

Poseidon poster
Absolutely awful poster here for the big-budget disaster flick Poseidon. Between the touting of the movie as “from the director of The Perfect Storm“, something you should not remind people of, and the upside down text for the title it’s just not very good at all. It’s a shame because the trailer was pretty good. This just looks corny and not worth my time at all.

Underworld: Evolution poster
Check out this new and much improved poster for Underworld: Evolution. It’s better because it not only shows off more of star Kate Beckinsdale but because it doesn’t look all static-y. I’m not crazy about the army hordes behind her but that’s a small point. It just looks more like a real poster.

16 Blocks trailer
BET.com has your first look at the trailer for 16 Blocks, a cop action drama starring Mos Def and Bruce Willis. Too many explosions and shooting, not enough character development in my opinion. Every gets lots of very emphatic line readings, but that does not make it compelling dialogue. Willis is the best thing about the trailer with the world-weariness seeming to come very naturally to him.

Slither trailer
There’s a new – and red-banded – trailer for Slither, the horror/comedy starring Elizabeth Banks and Nathon Fillion. I don’t usually go for this kind of stuff but this looks hilarious, with a definite tongue-in-cheek feel to it. Fillion looks like he gets to be dryly funny, which he does very well and Banks looks like she gets to be pretty and more overtly funny, which is a nice change for her. Looks like good stuff.

Put Steve Jobs in a movie poster

This is a very funny meme that Steve Rubel alerted me to. This guy is holding a contest and giving away an iPod. To enter, you just have to put Steve Jobs’ face on a movie poster. You can see some of the early entries here. Good stuff.
