What I love most about this story on how director Paul Verhoeven is planning a book that says Jesus was actually the result of Mary being raped by a Roman soldier is that it’s basically Monty Python’s Life of Brian, only taken seriously. I have to wonder why no one else has realized this yet. If the soldier’s name turns out to be Naughtious Maximus I think I just might die.
